this is a page about me. I’m not so down for that, so I’ll do it in the third person so that we can all be more comfortable with it.

thisisrabbit began in 2001 as an exercise in spontaneous illustation of narrative. The concept was that using automatic writing techniques from improvisation an instant narrative could be created with a few simple pen strokes. The illustrative style was to avoid getting caught up in having a style or even feeling pressure to have a style worth noting, this in itself has become part of thisisrabbit. Peeling back the visual elements to allow viewers as much room as possible for their imaginations to create the scenario and story, all the while feeling that they haven’t worked at all.

this site is dedicated to both recording the under takings of thisisrabbit as well as to try and share a moment with it’s visitors.

thisisrabbit has evolved into a combination of doodling, street art posters and screen-printing. I’m trying to avoid using ‘he’ so I’ll just say that I’m always looking for new ways to put a story in front of someone and see what they say, think or feel.
